Internet Shopping

Buy At (www.buy.at/fmauk
We receive a commission every time you buy from our online shop.  You only pay the retailers' normal prices!

M&S, Comet, Amazon, CD-Wow, RAC,  CIS, N4Sports, Carphone Warehouse, Travelselect, Co-op, Blackwell's and many more, but you must visit these shops from the buy.at/fmauk website for us to receive the commission.

UshopUgive (www.UshopUgive.com) is a new shopping website which enables us to raise money for FMA UK when you buy products over the Internet.  The website gives you access to the websites of a wide range of online retailers. These retailers pay sales commission on every purchase made when shoppers 'click through' UshopUgive to do their online shopping.

In turn, UshopUgive is passing money to participating charities like FMA  UK. Initially we will receive 50% of the sales commission and as purchases via the website grow UshopUgive will progressively increase our share, building ultimately to 90%.  So the more you shop the more you are helping us fundraise.  What could be easier?

Shopping via UshopUgive doesn't cost you anything extra, and you will find that the website is fast and easy to use. You simply select FMA UK prior to being linked directly to the retailer website of your choice where you shop normally.

The average sales commission passed to UshopUgive is over 5%, with some retailers paying considerably more. Many of the retailers will increase the % sales commission they pay as their sales from UshopUgive increase.

Recycle Your Cartridges and Mobile Phones to help FMA UK and the environment

Did you know that only 15% of ink cartridges get recycled which means 85% are not recycled or disposed of properly? FMA UK has now signed up with www.recycle4charity.co.uk so that supporters of FMA UK can help raise funds as well as helping the environment.
Ink cartridges from Hewlett Packard, Canon, Lexmark, Dell and Xerox can all be recycled by Recycle4charity but NOT EPSON cartridges. Each used virgin cartridge will raise £1 and each remanufactured cartridge £0.50. ALL mobile phones can be recycled and are worth between £5 and £30+ for the charity. 50% of all recycling revenue gained from mobile phones is donated. Those pre 1998 are worth £2.50.
FM Groups and individuals can register themselves as collectors for FMA UK by clicking on "Start donating my waste""Find out more" on the Home page. Read all of this page and then click on NEXT at the bottom of the page. Select "Fibromyalgia Association UK" in the "select a charity" drop down menu and order as many freepost bags or collecting boxes as you like to be sent to your home address. Once registered you will be given a personal ID number which can be used to reorder more bags and saves you retyping your details each time. You will then only have to click on the "ask for freepost bags" left side of Home Page and enter your ID number and email to order more freepost bags.
Each bag holds 1 - 2 empty cartridges and it is advised to pack the cartridges with something like bubble wrap or newspaper before sending them off to prevent damage to the cartridges in transit. There is a reorder form on the back of the freepost envelopes should you need to reorder.
If you prefer, you can ask for a collecting box, suitable for collecting in an office/work environment, which holds 100 cartridges. Once you have collected 50 or more cartridges you can ask for a free collection.
Payment is made quarterly to FMA UK and the Board of Trustees will give regular feedback on how you are helping to make a difference to FMA UK finances. As they say - "every little helps", so start collecting today!
The freepost bags can easily be included in your FM group newsletters.
You can help FMA UK further by asking all your friends and family to collect ink cartridges and old mobile phones  for FMA UK. Many thanks for your continuing support; it is much appreciated.
