This year has been unlike no other. With a lack of clarity on so many things, and lockdown restrictions throughout the country, this has led to many fundraising events for the charity being postponed or deffered. It has been difficult for all of us, and we've seen a reduction in our income this year due to the pandemic.
We have still had some fundraisers raise money for us, from a golf day to a virtual hadrians wall cross training exercise, we've still had some events take place and we are grateful to the effort of everyone invovled in what are very challenging times.
We also had some challenges due to be completed this year, such as Nicolle Ward (1st Photograph) who was due to be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. We also had Hollie Jervis (2nd Photo) and Jamie Lawson due to complete the Chiltern challenge and the Isle of Wight challenges respectively. They have all opted to defer their fundraising efforts and will instead be due to complete them next year. We appreciate the fact that they are willing to help us again, after the difficulties of this year and would like to thank them for doing so.
Times are tough for everyone at the moment, and we are so appreciative and thankful for any financial or voluntary help which has been offered to the charity during this pandemic. If you are interested in fundraising for us in any way, please do let us know and we will be happy to assist you in getting started. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots.
