Carl Long decided to hold a fundraising and awareness event, as his partner is a sufferer of Fibromyalgia. “Until you see what this does to someone day by day and the fact that you cannot do much to take away the pain or ease day by day things all the time, is a hard concept to understand.

Just by the way I feel about someone close to me having Fibro, there are thousands around the country and the world who are going through the same thing, wishing that there was more support for our loved ones, to make things easier for them. This event is not just in aid for my partner, it’s for all the sufferers around the world.”

This is wonderful the way Carl has responded to his partner’s FM in such a positive way. We are sure his event will prove a great success in every respect.

Between 150 - 170 people will be at Coventry City Supporters’ Club.  During the night there will be a disco, a raffle and an auction. The auction items include celebrity signed memorabilia and donations from celebrities such as Jamie Carragher and darts players like Phil Taylor and Terry Jenkins.

Ticket prices are as follows: Adult = £5 and family ticket = £13 which includes 2 adults and 2 children. If people wish to bring other children or have more than 2 children it’s an extra £1 per child.
