The Pain of the Edinburgh Marathon

FMA UK are delighted that Daniel, Jorge and Hector ran the Edinburgh Marathon on our behalf.  This is what Daniel had to say about the run.

"We all made it, but some of us suffered more than others, but we finished it. Jorge finished first with a time of 3h 41min. He felt pretty good a part of some stomach problems.

I finished second with a time of 4h 1min, I never thought I would have finished it when the pain on my knee came back at 12km. After 21km I was in agony but probably thinking about my family waiting for me at the end line, I managed to carry on and finish. Hector finished third with a time of 4h 12min. He was doing ok with some pain from time to time on his knee until the point he had to stop and combine walking with running.

We all are glad to have finished apart of our injuries now. Is been great to run for a great cause, and we are happy we could help people who suffer from Fibromyialgia by our fundraising and spreading the word to other people.

A marathon is something you want to prepare for and be sure about as the challenge will be with you for the rest of your life."
